If you are looking for a treat bar that provides the perfect crust to filling portions, the following methods allow one to create a tasty, delicate dessert that does not overpower one with its lemon flavoring. While there are a large number of recipes available on the web, the key is to achieve the perfect balance for awesome bars. The best results combine sugar, eggs, and butter for creamy delights.

The crust requires 1 and a half cups of all purpose flour, two thirds cup of powdered sugar, salt including half a teaspoon, quarter cup cornstarch, and hard butter including 12 tablespoons. For the filling you will need 4 large eggs, around 10 and a half ounces of sugar, 1 and a third cup of milk, a pinch of salt, and 2 teaspoons of lemon zest with two thirds a cup of juice. Use medium and larger sized bowls.

Preheat the over to a temperature of 350 degrees F with the use of a deep set baking tray that is appropriately greased. Make use of a large bowl for the mix of salt, cornstarch, powdered sugar, and flour. It may be easiest to make use of food processors as it will be easier to mix the frozen butter to an average of 10 seconds.

This preparation should include a course feel as it makes up the perfect crust consistency. This mix will need to be pressed into a tray including even layering. The tray should then be refrigerated for at least 30 minutes and bake for 20 minutes where it will develop a golden glow.

In the creation of the filling proceed to whisk the eggs, sugar, and flour into a bowl and then combining with the lemon zest, juice, and milk. While the crust is still warm, you will need to pour this mixture onto the top of the crust and place back into the over reducing the temperature by 25 degrees. It should bake for another 20 minutes.

The treats should be cut into slices once completed. It is best to add powdered sugar over the delicious lemon bars for a sweeter experience. Be sure to monitor the baking process to prevent from over heating and to achieve desired results.
