It has a perfect combination of phyllo dough, cinnamon, sugar, nuts, vanilla extract, and honey. It is also loved by chefs because it is not that difficult to make. First of all, they have to pay attention to their phyllo dough. This is the kind of dough that they will usually need to buy from the refrigerated section of their grocery store. The phyllo dough is known to dry out very quickly. If they have any that they are not currently using for their recipe on baklava online, they have to keep it wrapped with a damp towel.

The phyllo dough should always be handled with care. Not just because it dries out easily, it is also very fragile. They have to work things out quickly when they are making the said dish. They need to be careful as well when they do not want to rip it too. Let the moisture remain in the dough so that it can hold together.

When making the dish, melted butter is a necessity. One should make sure to brush a generous amount of the melted butter into the dough. The melted butter should be spread evenly and lightly. To make the butter easier to apply, one should use a pastry brush. One can even avoid tearing the dough with it.

After the dish has been layered into the baking dish and is now ready to bake, the person should then slice it up before placing it into the oven. When the dish has been cooked, the phyllo dough will then become crunchy. In that case, it will definitely crumble if one tries to slice it up after it has been baked.

Since the person is going to use nuts to give accent to the taste of the dish, try to add any variety of nuts to fill up the dish. This means that the person should mix it up. Better give pistachios, almonds, and walnuts a try for this dish. It will be more delicious with these nuts.

The nuts are not the only addition that can give a unique taste to the dish. It is important to have some spices into it too. Just like with the nuts, one should add variety to the spice. Try out some cloves, cinnamon, and cardamom or a mix of them. The person will surely end up with a perfect spice blend after experimenting.

Remember that to make the perfect dish, one has to work relatively quickly. One should be sure to do this as one layers the nuts and phyllo. To be able to work quickly, the person should set up all of the ingredients before starting the cooking procedure.

Most of the times, the dish is made in large batches. Even if there are a lot cooked, do not feel pressured to eat everything at once. It is fine to have some leftovers. The leftovers should be wrapped before it is popped into the freezer. One can then enjoy the leftovers later.
