Some people are intimidated by the idea of boiling a lobster. Basically, boiling is one of the popular and easiest ways of preparing these dishes. In the early 19th century, lobster is the food of the low to average people before fishermen and the entire public began catching and selling the products. Today, it has been considered as a prized fish.

Ideally, there are several ways to make these dishes. Many people are using this kind of large marine crustacean to boost health. Those seeking to enhance their well being can use live lobster as the main ingredient of any recipe they want. This will determine if this marine crustacean is useful and can be prepared properly.

And since these animals are composed of nutrients, it makes sense to prepare it as much as possible. It has been proven that this crustacean is helpful to heal in different health conditions. People who are in low carb diet program can also know that they are quite valuable without difficulties.

The first thing to do is to fill a large pot with adequate water. Three to five gallons of water can already hold about eight pounds of lobster. It is better to put extra gallon than overcrowding the pot with lobsters. After that, you may add 1 to 2 tablespoons of salt depending on your tastes. For great results, you should use sea salt.

Allow a full rolling boil. Typically, this rolling boil is when the water does not stop boiling when you stir the water. This is important to ensure it will bring to boil after putting the lobsters, minimizing the temperature is much better. Put them into the water head in first. If you are preparing multiple lobsters, put them all into the pot at once so you can remove at the same time.

After waiting for the allotted time, test the meat if it is already done. You can check it through its color. Fully cooked ones are deep red in color while uncooked ones have a charcoal color look. Test the meat and check if the meat has a firm, opaque and white skin. This is because uncooked meat has a clear appearance.

You should not overcrowd the pot. It would be much better to make them in batches especially if you want to cook lots of lobsters. Basically, cooked ones nicely with melted butter and lemon. You may also dip in white vinegar for enjoyment.
