Valentine Gifts Your Sweetheart Will Love

By Elba Fenwick

While you can't go wrong with a bouquet of delicate red roses, make this Valentine's Day special by presenting your sweetheart with a more unique gift. Not only will she enjoy something out of the ordinary, she will appreciate the fact that you went above and beyond to get her something special.

Of course, most women would appreciate a gift featuring gourmet chocolate, and a unique choice would be to order a sublime chocolate pizza. Chocolate Pizza Company creates this amazing delicacy which begins with a crust of melted milk or dark chocolate mixed with handmade toffee. Then you can select from an assortment of toppings. There are also white chocolate pizzas with a crust that contains dried cranberries, almonds and, of course, gourmet white chocolate. All of the pizzas are handmade, wrapped in cellophane and then packed in a genuine pizza box for delivery.

There are many other fun treats available from Chocolate Pizza Company, including beautiful solid chocolate roses carefully wrapped in crimson foil. You also could opt for an assortment of truffles or perhaps the Be My Valentine box that contains a beautifully decorated slice of chocolate pizza, a chocolate swirl heart, a mini hazelnut chocolate pizza, a chocolate covered Oreo and a small tub of Peanut Butter Wings. These special wings are an amazing concoction created by mixing crispy potato chips with creamy-style peanut butter and then dipping this in melted chocolate.

Another great Valentine treat would be to serve your lady a gourmet dinner by candlelight. You can even have a meal catered by her favorite restaurant. Set a beautiful table, dim the lights, put on her favorite music and let the romance begin. You can serve chocolate pizza slices or strawberries and champagne for dessert. Sometimes, she would prefer a special dinner away from home, so consider booking reservations at a fabulous restaurant or even taking her on a dinner cruise.

It's always fun to give her an assortment of little gifts associated with her favorite hobby. If she loves cooking, fill a basket with a cookbook, pretty kitchen towels, a bottle of gourmet olive oil, some high-end utensils or other fun items all featuring her favorite color. For someone who loves wine, get her a wine aerator, a great corkscrew and a couple bottles of her favorite wine or perhaps take her on a great wine-tasting adventure.

Many times, there is a special something that she really wants but might talk herself out of buying. Maybe it's a bit expensive or seems too indulgent, and this is where you come in. Buy her that designer bag she's always wanted or treat her to a day at the local spa where she can enjoy a massage and a mani-pedi. If you aren't exactly sure what special item she truly wants, call up her sister or ask her closest friend if there is anything that has caught her eye lately.
